The Adwiser was founded on a simple observation: most cross-border advisory firms understand either the origin market or the destination — rarely both. We are the exception. With deep roots in both Romania and the United Kingdom, The Adwiser brings genuine bicultural fluency to every engagement — not as a theoretical advantage, but as a lived, operational reality.

Our strategic methodology is grounded in rigorous financial analysis and real-world market experience. Our strategic analysis of Rolls-Royce identified the maritime division as a non-core asset suppressing shareholder value. Two years later, Rolls-Royce divested it in a £1.4bn transaction — validating the conclusion. This is the quality of thinking we bring to every client engagement.

The Adwiser's founder, Cristian, began his finance career in Romania in 2001 — progressing through insurance, banking, leasing, and capital markets over more than a decade before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2015. Starting from scratch in a new country, he self-funded an MBA in Investment Banking at London School of Business and Finance, completing it in 2020 alongside a full professional workload. He holds a CISI qualification in UK Regulation and Professional Integrity.
